I am a little behind in the blog life. Ehh, that’s ok though, I was celebrating my husband and the weekend!
This weekend we went to Bury St. Edmunds. We sat on the couch, slept, saw Prisoners, and ate yummies. It was nice to leave the Filton and just be a part of the Suffolk, England life. I say we blend in quite well, until we open our mouths…
Food. All I have to say is I’m not losing weight. So much deliciouness and variety. Oh, and Starbs on every corner gets me in trouble as well.

Micaela and I’s salads one evening. I have become obsessed with salads lately!
Homemade crock-pot potato soup. Warms the heart.
Salmon cakes and chips. The salad was so fresh. I used the lime as my dressing. Why have I never done that before?
Chimichanga from Chimi Changas. I enjoyed every bite because they don’t serve chips and salsa before your mill.
Ben & Jerry’s Peanut Butter Cup at the Cinema.
My taco salad I made this afternoon for lunch. Not bad for throwing it together.
We made @knockeduprunner’s Oat Flour Banana Bread. So good! Go to knockeduprunner.weebly.com for the recipe!

Our bread board. This is a runner’s heaven right here.
The goat cheese was scrumptious!
Micaela and I’s spread for lunch at Prezzos. Fresh salad with avocado, goat cheese, tomato, and balsamic, pepperoni and mushroom calzones, stuffed balls (I can’t remember the name), and a bread board!
Hot Toddy! Whiskey, honey, lemon

Highlight of my week last Wednesday was playing volleyball with the other student teachers, middle school teachers, and the Isle District Superintendent, Frank! We had a blast. It’s a weekly tradition here.
Until next time, cheers!
