Hello, let the adventures begin!

Let the adventures begin! Well, I mean continue. Some of you may know, but Patrick has already been to the Philippines and spent 4 weeks in Africa as of today. But you know, we are just now getting around to posting our blog; in time for me to join him in Africa!

We figured many would appreciate us posting blogs rather than blowing up your facebook and twitter feed with updates. However, I can’t promise I won’t continue social media of the sorts. We all k

now Patrick will spare you though. We are going to share everything and anything we can type into sentences so y’all stop thinking we are crazy nuts having a twenty-something mid-life crisis.

Patrick has agreed to post once or twice a week to share his side of the tracks. I have failed miserably trying to explain his thesis. His dissertation will obviously be much more precise and detailed and I could screw that up real quick. So, I will learn as you learn! He’s a dang good writer too.

I will be attempting to blog a few times a week as well. Don’t get your panties in a wad  if I fail a few times. Internet can be a shady piece sometimes.

Coming up this week is our itinerary from now until December and how a female packs for a three-week Africa adventure, as well as important items to keep you busy on a horrendous 16 hour flight.

‘ll go anywhere,
West Virginia baby I don’t care
Mexico on wild hair
Have you ever seen California
Pick a spot on any old map
I travel light and my bags are packed
Just as long as I’m where you’re at
I’m gonna have a real good view
I’ll go anywhere, anywhere with you’ – Jake Owens

About kalibell

Currently, we are celebrating our fourth year of marriage. When I married Patrick, I knew it was going to be a roller coaster of an adventure. However, little did I know, we would spend more time on a plane than in our home. We are beyond excited to share our adventures of soil science, developing countries, our move up north, teaching endeavors, special education, training for our runs and tid bits of our life. Here is our stories of a PhD student and teacher attempting to stay above average, so hang with us!
